Welcome to the RegenBase website, hosted by the University of Miami (hereinafter 'we', 'us', 'our'). If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern RegenBase's relationship with you regarding this website. Please read these terms carefully.
Access to the RegenBase system is issued to interested individuals, herein referred to as “Users”, for the purpose of scientific exploration of information in the RegenBase knowledge base or annotation of research projects based on the “Minimal Information About a Spinal Cord Injury experiment” (MIASCI) reporting standard.
The RegenBase system (SYSTEM) consists of all software components necessary to interact with the User and store and use the User’s information provided via the MIASCI annotation tool. The SYSTEM also contains software necessary to further develop and maintain the MIASCI annotation tool and the RegenBase website.
The User hereby agrees to the following terms and conditions for use of the RegenBase System:
a) User access to the requested information is sought SOLELY for the purposes indicated above;
b) User will NOT attempt to copy, modify, sell, distribute, disseminate, or transmit the RegenBase contents without attribution;
c) User will not share his/her personal credentials that granted him/her access to the RegenBase system;
d) User will NOT translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SYSTEM, or disclose the SYSTEM or any underlying information or technology to any third party.
g) The University of Miami shall have the sole discretion to grant, restrict or terminate User access to the SYSTEM at any time and for any reason;
h) All RegenBase data, logos, trademarks and service marks are the property of the University of Miami. Nothing on RegenBase should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark, service mark, or logo displayed on this Site without the express permission of the University of Miami or the third party that may own the trademark, service mark, or logo.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
