The RegenBase Knowledge Base
The RegenBase Knowledge Base (KB) integrates a structured representation of the expert-sourced literature annotations (created using MIASCI Online) with experimental data from kinase activity and neurite outgrowth assays as well as bio-ontologies including the Mammalian Phenotype Ontology, Gene Ontology, BioAssay Ontology and public resources including PubChem and PubMed through the identifiers.org registry. RegenBase KB can be used to ask questions across SCI experiments of multiple types, involving multiple species and measuring different outcomes. We use the Virtuoso Open Source triplestore to store the RegenBase KB, and DL or SPARQL for querying.
Browse the contents of RegenBase KB to explore the kinases, biological entities and processes targeted in an experiment, outcome measures, and injury types that our expert curators have extracted from the literature.
If you have large data sets relevant to spinal cord injury and axon regeneration that you would like to add to the knowledge base, please contact us.
